while creating portraits i decided to create portraits of various facial features and sections of the facial area.
Drawing 1 : I chose to draw a close up of a eye adding my own style and twist, to create this drawing I used soft pastels and metallic pastels as well as a graphite stick. I'm not entirely happy with the end product as it not really my normal style but i enjoyed leaving my comfort zone to create a nice image.
Drawing 2 : for this drawing i sectioned off part of Debbie's face and added heavy make up in as i created this portrait ,using a 2b pencil and various graphite sticks and charcoal, although i created the desired effect i don't like the finished project because of the smudges created from the charcoal.
Drawing 3 : i decided to draw the same section of debbies face and use the charcoal in different ways like just outling the eylashes and smudging the charcoal in, the only material i used for this portrait was charcoal. Although its not my best work i really like the way it ended up looking.
Drawing 4: i took a picture of my eye (secondary evidence) using charcoal i tried my best to recreate the image.
Drawing 5 : using oil pastels i chose a section of my face and did my best to replicate what i saw,
black oil pastels and white oil pastels to highlight where the light hit my face i really like the way this drawing turned out its really bold and stands out from the dull yellow paper.
Drawing 6 : I chose a picture out a magazine and drew one of the models from a toni & guy advertisement using oil pastels.

Drswing 8 : pencil portrait accented with fine liner, i really like this image as i feel like i found my own personal style within this image.
Drawing 9 : life drawing of laura simpson, i used charcoal its not my best drawing as i felt uncomfortable drawing others at first.
Drawing 10 : portrait of my younger brother, i used pencils and i like this image as its imperfect .
